Ignacy Nowak

Ignacy Nowak (born 12 January 1949) is a Polish chess player who won the Polish Chess Championship in 1985. FIDE Master (1983).
==Chess career==

From 1971 to 1990 Ignacy Nowak twelve times participated in the Polish Chess Championship's finals. In 1985 in Gdynia he shared the first - third place, and then won additional tournament in Warsaw, a half point ahead of Jan Adamski.〔(XLII Szachowe Mistrzostwa Polski Gdynia / Warszawa play off 1985 )〕 In Polish Team Chess Championship Nowak represented the Poznań chess club and two times (1985, 1988) won the team event.〔(OlimpBase :: Polish Team Chess Championship :: Ignacy Nowak )〕 Also twice Nowak won Polish Blitz Championships (1973, 1987).
